The operator does not publish the exact drive time for this listing, but the official cliffs site says about 4 hours by road from Dublin via Limerick, and most of the coach listings put 3 to 3.5 hours between stops.

Expect a long stretch of sitting before anything scenic happens.

Kinvara and the Burren

The coach stops about 20 minutes in Kinvara, a fishing village on Galway Bay, where you see Dunguaire Castle from outside. Note the castle has been closed to visitors since 2023, so no tour enters it and a photo from the coach or the village is all anyone gets. Then comes the drive through the Burren, the limestone landscape the listing calls lunar, where it says Arctic, Alpine and Mediterranean flora grow side by side and 28 types of orchid appear in season.

Bunratty and the Road Home

On the way back there is a photo and break stop at Bunratty Castle, built from around 1450. You photograph it from outside. Castle entry is not part of this tour.

Then it is the long run east, back in Dublin at about 8:00 PM. There is no toilet on board, but the operator says rest stops are made along the way.

Stated Exclusions and Limits
